Just a little background I how Sam and I met.
December 2023, Samuel did something no other client of ours has ever done in the 28 years we have been selling betting products on the net.
Yes, I was here before Google, Paypal, and Ebay.
But back to Samuel, he sent me a Christmas Card, yes in the post, real stamp and all.
(Got another in 2024, solid.)
That was the start of a relationship, that has lead us to this staking software.
So, let's look at the email he sent, that kicked the can along the road, to what is now on this page.
The Email (dated 26/11/2024)
(The bracketed comments are my doing sorry.)
Good evening gentlemen, (don't you think Samuel has a bit of class?)
I’ve been working on a staking plan recently and finalising a few details. I’m ready to share it with you now.
Hopefully you like it.
If you like it, I’d be interested in collaborating with you on producing spreadsheets, cloud and bots using this staking plan.
I’ve called it the “winning run maximiser” but I’d be open to suggestions if you have a better name for it.
(We are calling it Hard N Soft Staking.)
The idea started from a very simple strategy which is touted as a way to profit on even chances in casino games where you only increase stake if you win and reset once you reach a profitable position.
The idea being that each win negates at least one loss and a run of wins with increasing stakes quickly overcomes multiple losses.
Ultimately the house edge wins out once a losing run gets long enough which is inevitable, so it doesn’t actually work in the long run on casino games…but the idea has some merit where the prices are better (eg horses and dogs), with a bit of adjustment.
I’ve been testing this on favourites across horse racing and greyhound racing.
Importantly the selections for this should always be paying at least 2.00 odds (no odds on runners) as it is important that any win should be able to recover at least one loss and preferably more.
As we know, favourites have a habit of getting into both winning and losing streaks, and it’s the winning streaks which really make this system hum, while the losing streaks are managed neatly to fairly safely bide time until winners start to appear.
The system doesn’t have to use the favourites…any selection criteria which has a reasonable proportion of winners and preferably winning streaks should do well with this.
My adaptation sets up two targets, a soft target and a hard target. The soft target is always to exceed the starting position, and the hard target is set once the soft target has been exceeded.
As a safety measure against bad runs, if the staking reaches 5x the original stake, the hard target is reset to match the soft target.
This helps to guard against excessively large stakes in cases where you’re getting a win/loss/win/loss type of run or have had a string of losses and are recovering from it.
This way the player only need to recover their losses, not risk more to hopefully reach a bigger profit.
Interestingly, often times when the staking gets to be high enough to require a reset of the hard target, the eventual winning position exceeds what the hard target had been set to anyway.
The main benefit to having the soft and hard target is that when a winning run is occurring, the player isn’t stuck at minimum staking and so can take advantage of the wins with some higher stakes making some decent returns.
With some other staking plans, it can be a little bit deflating to have a great winning run and realise that you’ve been stuck at the base stake the whole time because targets are constantly being met and the system doesn’t see a need to increase the stakes at all.
This system rewards winning streaks with some increased stakes which help to boost profits.
I’ve attached a spreadsheet with a few tabs showing a few sessions I’ve conducted using Easy Bet Bot Deluxe to keep track of things, along with comments explaining what is happening each step of the way. For each of these I’ve used $5 as the base stake.

The comment column is telling you how the stakings is working.
End of Samuel's first email.
That was the start of where we have arrived today, many things have happened between the first email and the cloud software and excel we now have to offer you.
Fast forward three weeks, and we arrive with a test on the cloud software.
Again in Samuel's own words.
Just ran a live test on some UK dogs (selection criteria: races I could see on Sky or the SIS stream, favourite paying at least 2.00).
Honestly UK dogs seem to be some of the better results for this.
In my experience most days UK dogs have a period of a couple hours where almost no favourites win, but outside of that the favourites tend to do very well.
Most days anyway…
You might like this session for marketing. (Thanks Samuel)
This above results are from the testing Samuel did when he first got the cloud software.
Two days later.. another email from Samuel.
5/12/2024.
Hi Steve,
Another little test run for you. Titled UK horses but ended up including South Africa, France and US as well.
Started off very well. Slowed down as the sun went down over there.
Would’ve had one more winner if a horse which ejects the jockey was allowed to win the race…finished well ahead of the official winner!
This again was just favourites at 2.00+. It’s a simple selection criteria that I can get Easy Bet Bot Deluxe to work on while I’m working and not paying an awful lot of attention to it.
It got me thinking though. The strike rate is similar to what you’ve demonstrated with some of your RPM strategies.
I expect you’re getting better priced selections than the favourites so you would probably get a better ROI.
Anyway, the series is saved in there if you want to look or use it for anything.
Regards,
Samuel
OK, that is it from Samuel, he is happy the way the cloud and excel staking products are working, so we are happy to offer them now to you.
